Abstract:This paper aims to describe the role of the Churches in overcoming the Ecological Crisis in Patila Village. The crisis problems that occur there are land damage, disposal of palm oil factory waste and air pollution. In this writing the author uses qualitative methods with literature studies that utilize existing sources such as trusted books, articles and journals. The author also conducts field research by conducting direct interviews with several church members to collect the data needed for this writing. Throughout the history of the church, theological fields such as biblical and systematic studies have not been made a focus because they have focused too much on emphasizing the special relationship between God and humans as Imago Dei so that the environment has not become important for the study of theologies in the past. The current ecological crisis shows clear evidence that the theology that we understand so far must be reconstructed to carry out theological renewal as soon as the spirit of reformation must always renew itself. The churches in Patila Village must take concrete steps in responding to this. There are two concrete steps proposed by the author. First, the churches in Patila Village provide advocacy assistance to church members. Second, the Commitment of the Churches in Patila Village to voice prophetic voices to the local government.   Keywords: Churches, ecological crisis, theology   Abstrak:Tulisan ini bertujuan menguraikan tentang peran Gereja-gereja dalam mengatasi Krisis Ekologis di Desa Patila. Krisis permasalahan yang terjadi disana ialah kerusakan tanah, pembuangan limbah pabrik kelapa sawit dan pencemaran polusi udara. Dalam penulisan ini penulis menggunakan metode kualitatif dengan studi kepustakaan yang memanfaatkan sumber-sumber yang ada sebagaimana buku-buku, artikel dan jurnal yang terpercaya. Penulis juga melakukan penelitian lapangan dengan melakukan wawancara langsung ke beberapa anggota jemaat untuk mengambil data yang diperlukan dalam penulisan ini. Sepanjang sejarah gereja menunjukkan bidang-bidang teologi sebagaimana studi biblika dan sistematika tidak menjadikan sebagai fokus karena terlalu memfokuskan diri pada penekanan hubungan khusus Allah dan manusia sebagai Imago Dei sehingga lingkungan tidak menjadi hal yang penting bagi studi teologi-teologi dimasa lalu. Krisis ekologis yang terjadi saat ini menunjukkan bukti yang nyata bahwa teologi yang kita pahami selama ini harus dikonstruksi ulang untuk segera melakukan pembaruan teologis sebagaimana semangat reformasi harus senantiasa memperbaharui dirinya. Gereja-gereja di Desa Patila harus melakukan langkah konkrit dalam menyikapi hal tersebut. Ada dua langkah konkrit yang diusulkan oleh penulis, Pertama, Gereja-gereja di Desa Patila melakukan pendampingan advokasi kepada warga gereja. Kedua, Komitmen Gereja-gereja di Desa Patila menyuarakan suara-suara kenabian kepada pemerintah setempat.   Kata kunci: Gereja-gereja, krisis ekologis, teologi
