IMPLEMENTASI METODE WAFA DALAM PEMBELAJARAN TAHFIZH QUR’AN DI SEKOLAH TAHFIZH CAHAYA DI ATAS CAHAYA KOTA BUKITTINGGI
Abstract
This research is motivated by the application of the Wafa method in memorizing the Qur'an at the Tahfizh Cahaya above Cahaya school educational institution in Bukittinggi City. Since the implementation of the Wafa method, children aged 8 to 10 years have been able to memorize an average of 4 juz of the Qur'an, some have even memorized 11 juz. Based on the above background, the author is interested in studying the Wafa method used in memorizing the Qur'an. The purpose of this study was to determine the preparation of teachers in the implementation of the Wafa method in Tahfizhul Al-Qur'an Learning, to determine the implementation of the Wafa method in Tahfizh Al-Qur'an learning, to determine the evaluation of the Wafa method in Tahfizh Al-Qur'an learning and to determine the supporting factors and obstacles to the Wafa method in learning Tahfizh Al-Qur'an at the Tahfizh Light Above Light School.This research use desciptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used are observation, interviews, and documentation. After all the data has been collected, the writer clarifies, edits, and adjusts, then it is filtered into a final conclusion.Based on the results of the study, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Wafa Method in learning Tahfzih Qur'an at the Tahfizh Cahaya Above Light School is: 1). The preparation made by the teacher in learning Tahfizh Al-Qur'an is that the teacher plans learning by making learning tools such as lesson plans, the Wafa book as a learning medium and the Qur'an as the main source. 2). In the implementation of learning the teacher instills intention and motivates students before learning begins, 3). Evaluation of students' abilities is carried out by the teacher by being tested for memorizing the Qur'an that has been memorized. 4). Supporting factors are adequate infrastructure, conducive school environment, and inhibiting factors, namely the uneven understanding of teachers towards the Wafa method, the existence of children's learning styles that are not the same, and the lack of cooperation between teachers and parents.
