POLA PENDIDIKAN AGAMA ISLAM PADA KELUARGA MUSLIM DI DESA PASAKIAT TAILELEU KECAMATAN SIBERUT BARAT DAYA KABUPATEN KEPULAUAN MENTAWAI SUMATRA BARAT

Abstract

This study aims to determine the form of Islamic religious education in Muslim families in Pasakiat Taileleu Village, then to determine the implementation of Islamic religious education in Muslim families in Pasakiat Taileleu Village and to find out the opportunities and challenges in implementing Islamic religious education in Muslim families in Pasakiat Taileleu Village. This study uses a descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques: observation, interviews and documentation with data analysis through data reduction, data presentation and drawing conclusions and verification. The results of this study conclude that the form of Islamic religious education in Pasakiat Taileleu Village includes forms of awareness, forms of omission, forms of wisdom, forms of interaction, forms of orders and prohibitions, forms of advice, forms of habits and forms of punishment and rewards. The implementation of Islamic religious education in Muslim families in this village is faith education (tawhid), worship education and moral education. Among the three types of education, the most important is faith education because the Muslims in this village are a Christian minority. The opportunities for implementing Islamic religious education in this village are the example of parents, availability of parental time, the existence of Islamic religious education institutions, support from immigrants, minimal influence of social media, the presence of devoted preachers and peaceful social conditions. Meanwhile, the challenges of implementing Islamic religious education in this village are the predominantly Christian environment, the large number of tourists who come to travel, the lack of parental knowledge about religion, unfavorable economic conditions, limited religious information and the lack of religious leaders.
