PENERAPAN METODE DUQQOH DALAM PEMBELAJARAN MEMBACA AL-QUR'AN DI MADRASAH IBTIDAIYAH (MI) AL-ALIM SEGAWE PURWOSARI WONOGIRI TAHUN 2022

Abstract

This study aims to desribe how the application of the duqqoh method, its advantages and disadvantages in learning to read the qur’an. This study uses a qualitative description approach with the type of field research. Research subjects are duqqoh teachers and students in grade 1-3. Research informants are madrasa principals, islamic religion teachers, art teachers and homeroom teachers for grade 1-3. Data were collected using observation, interview and documentation techniques. Data analysis technique using Miles & Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation and conclusion drawing. The results of this study : 1) The duqqoh method is applied with songs, beat, the principle of repetition and uses a teacher centered direct learning model, 2) The duqqoh method has the advantages that it is easy for students to remember because they learn the qur’an by singing and using beats to makes reading easier for precision, and 3) The disadvantages that it is considered outdated because it is integrated with culture and is only intended for Javanese people.
