KAJIAN CAMPURAN BETON MUTU TINGGI DENGAN TAMBAHAN SERBUK SLAG TERHADAP METODE CURING
Abstract
In line with the growing of construction technology, various studies have been carried out related to concrete construction materials. One of main material in concrete is portland cement. Usage of slag powder is one of the innovation in concrete material technology. This research was intended to determine the increase in compressive strength of concrete with added material substitution of slag powder against groundwater, seawater and non curing curing methods. Substitution of slag powder with a proportion of 10%, 20%, and 30% by weight of cement. The concrete test results with varying levels of slag powder substitution mixture as described previously, obtained the highest compressive strength value of 49.89 MPa, which occurred in the concrete mixture with 10% slag powder substitution. The compressive strength test which meet the high quality concrete criteria (fc 50 concrete) is a freshwater-cured concrete with a compressive strength value of 50.65 MPa at the age of 28 days and a seawater-cured concrete with a compressive strength value of 51.31 MPa in the concrete age of 56 days. While the concrete sample without curing treatment has a compressive strength value below 50 MPa.
