Character education is a very important national foundation and needs to be instilled in children from an early age. Therefore, the impact of globalization that is happening at this time has brought the Indonesian people to forget the character of the nation. Talking about education is never ending. Various educational problems have emerged along with the times. Likewise, the solution is that there are more and more opinions, opinions, journals, articles and even special research on education, both theoretical and empirical studies. The problems that can be formulated are 1. How are the values ??of character education in Surah al-Ahzab verse 21 from the perspective of Tafsir al-Mishbah by Muhammad Quraish Shihab?, 2. How is the contribution of the concept of character education values ??in Surah al-Ahzab 21 from the perspective of Tafsir al -Mishbah according to Muhammad Quraish Shihab on the development of Islamic religious education? The objectives to be achieved are 1.
