Islamuna: Jurnal Studi Islam (ISSN: 2407-411X; E-ISSN: 2443-3535) is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published biannually by the Postgraduate Program of Madura State Islamic Institute (Pascasarjana Institut Agama Islam Negeri (IAIN) Madura), Indonesia. Islamuna specializes in Islamic Studies which are the results of fieldwork research, conceptual analysis research, and book reviews from various perspectives i.e. education, law, philosophy, theology, sufism, history, culture, economics, social and politics. This journal encourages articles that employ an interdisciplinary approach to those topics and aims at bridging the gap between the textual and contextual approaches to Islamic Studies. Islamuna has become a CrossRef Member since the year 2015. Therefore, all articles published by Islamuna will have a unique DOI (Digital Object Identifiers) number. This journal, published twice a year in June and December, publishes articles in Indonesian, English, and Arabic. All published articles are available online. These articles undergo the rigorous double-blind peer-review process. Islamuna is managed by editors at the Postgraduate Program of Madura State Islamic Institute (Pascasarjana Institut Agama Islam (IAIN) Madura) but it has a distinguished international advisory board, including scholars from America, Belgium, India, Singapore, Malaysia, and Indonesia. The journal will address issues of importance to scholars, students, and researchers of Islamic studies. As a medium for disseminating and exchanging scientific ideas, Islamuna warmly welcomes contributions from scholars from related disciplines and invites any discussions of Islamic Studies as the aim and scope to promote their scientific publications on Islam at its broadest sense covering normative and historical aspects.
