PENGUATAN PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER (PPK) MELALUI MANAJEMEN DAN KEPEMIMPINAN SEKOLAH DI SMP NEGERI 29 BENGKULU UTARA

Abstract

The purpose of this article is to know the role of school principals in implementing the Strengthening of Character Education (SCD) through the management and leadership of the school in SMP Negeri 29 Bengkulu Utara.. The principal has performed management and leadership functions, as an inspirator, encouraging change, as an example figure, developing a school ecosystem. However, the role of headmaster in the dimension of academic and managerial supervision function, especially in following up the results of academic supervision of teachers in order to increase the professionalism of teachers and as a communicator needs to be improved again. The management and leadership of the school to implement the Strengthening Character Education (SCD) in State Junior High School 29 Bengkulu Utara has been running well (3.22) according to the leadership dimension of organizational dimension, intellectual dimension, relational dimension, education dimension, and personal dimension.
