DERADIKALISASI TERORISME ANAK DI BRSAMPK HANDAYANI, JAKARTA
Abstract
Acts of terrorism in Indonesia no longer has involved adults, but also has involved children. Handling of children involved in terrorism has also been conducted by the government. This study aims to analyze the handling of children involved in terrorism at the Center for the Social Rehabilitation of Children in Need of Special Protection (BRSAMPK) and the Handayani Special School for Emotions (SLBe), Jakarta. The problem of this research is the deradicalization carried out by BRSAMPK Handayani and SLBe Handayani to children involved in terrorism. This study is qualitative research that use case study and data are collected by observations and in-depth interviews. This study found that the Handayani BRSAMPK has handled children involved in terrorism by carrying out rehabilitation and deradicalization, while the Handayani SLBe has provided access to education and deradicalization that is inserted in the subjects. The deradicalization is carried out with an integrative approach under the program of special education services, of rehabilitation and of deradicalization.
