HIJRAH IMPLEMENTATION IN THE MAKASSAR HIJRAH FRIENDS COMMUNITY (SUNNAH LIVING STUDY)

Abstract

This study aims to determine the content of the hadith about hijrah; and the implementation of hijrah in the Sahabat Hijrah Makassar community. This research is classified as a field-library research, the data were collected through takhrij al-hadis, observation, and interviews. Then the researchers reviewed and concluded. The hadiths about hijrah in this study are of valid quality and have various forms and patterns of content such as hijrah depending on intention, practices that are equivalent to hijrah and the interruption of hijrah. Understanding the meaning of hijrah according to the friends of hijrah Makassar is divided into two forms, namely understanding the hijrah traditions and understanding the meaning of hijrah outside the context of hadith such as repentance and identity. Living sunnah research is a new study and is still very open to the form of research in the field of hadith. There is no agreement on the model and analysis, so this paper is expected to spark the discourse of the study of living sunnah in Indonesia. The hijrah movement in Indonesia was originally and in general a da'wah movement that focused on fostering young “millennial” generations, so that the government is expected to pay special attention to these communities.
