Layanan pembuatan kartu keanggotaan dan layanan tandon berbasis sistem otomasi INLISLite pada Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan Kota Bandung

Abstract

Library services serve as key indicators of the success of the main activities of a library’s primary activities and to enhance overall library quality. Dinas Arsip dan Perpustakaan (Disarpus) Kota Bandung leverages library services, including user membership cards services and reservoir services. Disarpus Kota Bandung utilizes a library automation system called INLISLite to optimize these services. This study aims to provide an overview of user membership cards services and reservoir services implemented by Disarpus Kota Bandung. The research method used is descriptive qualitative using observation techniques, interviews with informants (librarians) and literature studies. The results of the study indicate that user membership cards services in this study focus on two activities, the registration service for new user members into database and the creation of user membership cards. Meanwhile, the reservoir service, which is a service for providing collections of back-up library materials, is carried out by librarians with 2 main activities, categorizing book collections into reservoir collections and labeling reservoirs (T) on physical books. Reservoir categorization activities are carried out online by utilizing the INLISLite version 3 library automation system, while reservoir labeling (T) is carried out manually
