Abstract

This study aims to find out how the role of language in TMI Al-Amien Prenduan and its correlation with the educational and analytical values of the philosophy of Taaj al-Ma'had. The research method used is a type of qualitative research with a literature study approach. Data collection techniques were sourced from book documentation, and articles. Data analysis techniques namely: data reduction, data presentation, and data verification or conclusions. The data validation technique uses confirmability through a language development group (Markazul Lughoh) which holds various daily, monthly, or yearly language activities. The results of the study show that the role of language is quite closely correlated with educational values because learning and use of (foreign) languages will not work education. The role of language in TMI Al-Amien Prenduan is an element that is quite important because if the language does not live. language development has the full support of Markazul Lughoh and all pesantren functionaries including students who actively speak foreign language in their daily conversations. Theoretical and practical implications can be stated, theoretical implications, the application of skills to discuss listening, speaking, reading, writing, composing, and translating will make it easier for students to learn the language, Markazul Lughoh has an important role in improving the quality of students' language.
