Upaya Meningkatkan Kinerja Pegawai Melalui Komitmen Organisasi (Studi Pada Dinas Tenaga Kerja dan Transmigrasi Provinsi Banten)

Abstract

This study aims to examine and analyze the effect of transformational leadership and organizational culture on employee performance through organizational commitment. This research uses descriptive quantitative method with causality approach. The object of this research is the Department of Manpower and Transmigration of Banten Province using a sample of 119 respondents. Questionnaire answers were measured using an interval scale of 1 – 10. Data were analyzed using the SmartPLS version 3.29 software. The results of this study stated that: 1). Transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 2). Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. 3). Transformational leadership has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. 4). Organizational culture has a positive and significant effect on organizational commitment. 5). Organizational commitment has a positive and significant effect on employee performance. Organizational commitment can mediate between transformational leadership and organizational culture in partial mediation.
