Al-Isnad: Journal of Islamic Civilization History and Humanities is a scientific journal published by the Department of History of Islamic Civilization (SPI) at the State Islamic University of Surakarta (UIN Surakarta) This journal is dedicated to exploring and socializing various creative and innovative new ideas from academics, lecturers, student, and observers. First, is the history of Islamic civilization which includes ideas, social systems, object relics, philosophy, theory and methodology, historiography, and others. Second, humanities studies include linguistics, literature, education, philosophy, archeology, arts, and social sciences which have humanity content. Al-Isnad is Published twice a year (June and December) and welcomes contributions in the form of original communications (Research papers), reviews, discussion papers, and also special themed issues on relevant topics.
