Samarah: Jurnal Hukum Keluarga dan Hukum Islam is a double-blind peer-reviewed journal published by Islamic Family Law Department, Sharia and Law Faculty, Universitas Islam Negeri Ar-Raniry, Banda Aceh, Indonesia. The journal publishes research articles, conceptual articles, and book reviews of Islamic family law and Islamic law (See Focus and Scope). The articles of this journal are published bi-annually; June and December. From the beginning of its publication in 2017, Samarah has been registered with CrossRef. All articles published by Samarah have a DOI number. Samarah is also indexed by Google Scholar, Garuda, Moraref, BASE, and more indexing please go here. In 2019, Samarah has been accredited by the Decree of the General Director of Strengthening Research and Development, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 28/E/KPT/2019. This accreditation is effective from publication Vol 2. No 1. 2018 (Sinta 5). In the same year, Samarah has been reaccredited by Decree of the General Director of Strengthening Research and Development, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number 36/E/KPT/2019. This reaccreditation is only effective on publication Vol 3. No 2. 2019 (Sinta 3). In 2020, Samarah has been reaccredited by Decree of the General Director of Strengthening Research and Development, Ministry of Research, Technology, and Higher Education of the Republic of Indonesia Number: 148/M/KPT/2020. This reaccreditation is effective from publication Vol 4. No 1. 2020 (Sinta 2).
