KOMUNIKA: Jurnal Dakwah dan Komunikasi is a scientific journal with a focus on the study of communication theory, mass communication, Islamic communication, da'wah management, da'wah messages, da'wah media, da'wah methods, da'wah organizations, Islamic broadcasting, Islamic journalism, public relations, da'wah and politics, development of Islamic society, Islamic counseling. KOMUNIKA: Jurnal Dakwah dan Komunikasi is a journal published by Faculty of Da'wah IAIN Purwokerto with ISSN number 1978-1261. First published in 2007 published 11 titles of articles and at number 2 published as many as 12 articles both from inside and outside the campus IAIN Purwokerto. Starting issue of volume 11 number 1 in 2017, KOMUNIKA: Jurnal Dakwah dan Komunikasi published also in electronic format with ISSN (online) number 2548-9496. Since the editorial structure changes in early 2016, KOMUNIKA: Jurnal Dakwah dan Komunikasi has done a lot of improvements in relation to the online edition. Some improvements made, among others, to digitize the old edition of the article and then uploaded as a back issue, so that all articles can be accessed online starting from volume 1 number 1 of 2007 to the latest volume. Another policy is to do indexing to various national and international indexers, one of them to DOAJ. Indexed in DOAJ since 31 July 2017 with green tick.
